Pick up an empty box outside the Sanctuary on Sunday, July 5 and return it full of items on Sunday, July 26.
OR, let us do the work for you! You can purchase a filled box in the Mission Store for $30.00 (the new price includes $7.00 postage to send items overseas). Select a boy or girl and we will do the rest!
Make a difference in a child’s life.
Please come join us for “Market Night” on the last night of VBS, Thursday, July 9 at 7:45 in the sanctuary for a short program and to “shop” in the Market. You will have an opportunity to purchase the children’s crafts and all proceeds will go to a Watering Malawi project!
Grandin Court Baptist Church has asked us to participate in a family Hands on Mission at their new MAC on Saturday, July 11, from 9AM-Noon. They will be hosting a “Meal Packaging Event” and plan to pack 30,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now!! Children age 5 up are welcome to attend with their parents. Each person is asked to consider donating $10, but that is optional.
Stop Hunger Now is a non-profit, non-governmental relief organization that coordinates food and medical aid projects across the globe. Their mission is to provide the maximum amount of food and life saving aid to the maximum number of the most poor and hungry throughout the world in the most rapid, efficient and effective manner. Next Sunday, July 12 is the beginning of team sign ups.
Team descriptions and sign-up sheets will be available in the crossover so the congregation can decide how they would like to serve RHBC for the September 2009 - August 2010 church year.
Sign-ups will be available until Sunday, August 2, which is Team Celebration Sunday.
Team signups are for two year terms. If your name is shown on a list, you still have another year on your term. If your name is not on a list, then your term has expired and you will need to sign up for another term if you want to continue serving.
Be sure to read the descriptions of the teams as some of them may have changed since last year.

RHBC is a church committed to discovering and fulfilling its role in God’s mission of reconciliation and redemption. God has designed a unique mission for us to reach out and minister to those in our reach. We reach out for one purpose...to minister to their needs in the name of Christ. We are working constantly to remind ourselves that life is NOT about us but those to whom God desires we go to in His name.
